2010 Music Preview:2010 R&B And Soul Music Upcoming Album Releases – 2010 looks like it will be a very interesting year for R&B music fans with the return of Sade,Jaheim and Janet Jackson.Maxwell and Beyonce are also schedule to release new albums this year.You can check out the upcoming releases after the jump.

*Soldier of Love by Sade : the queen is back.
*Another Round by Jaheim : can he regain his status as a R&B prince? The first single from the project “Ain’t Leavin Without You,” is decent but kind of timid for a big comeback.
*The Love & War MasterPeace by Raheem DeVaughn : if “Bulletproof,” his modern classic featuring rapper Ludacris is an indication of what is on this album,it could be a defining moment for Raheem DeVaughn.Classic in the making?
*New Amerykah Part 2 by Erykah Badu : Erykah ‘No one can do Badu like you do.’
*Still Standing by Monica : make or break project for this R&B princess,the title song “Still Standing” was good enough to turn it into a hit CD,but its leak was poorly managed by her team.Nonetheless with a hit reality show on BET,we can expect the album to be well promoted.
*Angels Advocate by Mariah Carey : a new life for Carey’s “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” 2008 flop but I don’t see it doing much better.Her duet with Ne-Yo is a good first single though.
March 2010
*Raymond vs. Raymond by Usher : can Usher confess his way back to the top of the charts? I am not sure because this is 2010 not 2004.
*Body by Jamie Foxx : Jamie is a good entertainer so expect this to be more about entertainment than artistry.
*Bionic by Christina Aguilera : she is a pop artist with an urban edge but it seems she lost her mojo.
April 2010
*Love? by Jennifer Lopez : first single “Louboutins” flopped on the charts,this project doesn’t exactly smell like a big comeback.
Other 2010 Releases
*blackSUMMERS’night by Maxwell : if it is as good as the first part of his trilogy,2010 will belong to him RnB wise.
*Keyshia Cole fourth studio album : Cole rarely disappoints so it should be good.
*Love King by The-Dream : will it be his last album?
*Pulse by Toni Braxton : she still got it but the public seems a little bit tired of her music.
*Janet Jackson eleventh studio album : her most recent single “Make Me” performed well on the charts,so with the right songs she could do well with this CD.
*The Remedy by Jagged Edge : Slip-N-Slide Records debut for this once promising R&B group.
*FleshTones by Kelis : the album’s first single “Acapella,” is not really impressive this could spell flop for the “Milkshake” singer.
*Honey Bee by Beyoncé : the title is not final but it looks like Bee will be doing what she does best here.With a little bit more artistry things would be perfect.
*The Pussycat Dolls third studio album : enigma from a group that is fading.

Christina Aguilera hasn’t lost her mojo. Her label just released some sucky singles off Back to Basics w/ the exception of Ain’t No Other Man.
What about The Queen Project and En Vogue
R. Kelly supposedly has “Zodiac” dropping in 2010. I’ll be interested to hear that. New Trey Songz to apparently. “Ready” was a great album and I am eager to see how he follows it up. Brandy and Ray J have projects coming out to. And of course I’ll be checking for “LoveKing” by The-Dream.”

I agree with corey Christina has not lost her mojo! Does this writer even know bout music?? There were better tracks on back to basics that could have been chosen but nevertheless she is comin very very soon with her new single and long awaited album. nearly 3 times a day i am Googling the single release from her i cant wait!
also Che’Nelle Album is gonna be released this year. Her lead single is “Feel Good” My Opinion – She has a lottla good songs on her debut album “things happen for a reaon”, but i hope she takes to the next level with her sophmore album!!
