Ashanti Talks New Album And will.i.am. With Rico & Mambo
Miss Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas is creating lots of buzz surrounding her forthcoming fifth studio album with loads of interviews and appearances.
The singer recently made a stop on Rico & Mambo’s show where she stated that she is trying to work with futuristic producer and singer Black Eyed Peas’ Will.i.am. She shared during the interview:
“He has his pop swag but he has his Hip Hop Swag still. I think a fusion would be something new and different.”
After saying that Will.i.am’s sound is completely different from hers the “Never Too Far Away” singer went on to explain that she is ready to try new ideas and work with new concepts. You can listen to the interview after the jump.
