Beyoncé Gives Birth To Baby Girl Named Blue Ivy Carter
Music superstar Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has given birth to a baby girl on Saturday via C-section.
This is the first child for Beyoncé and husband rap music mogul Jay-Z.
According to the couple’s very good friend Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow, the baby’s name is Blue Ivy Carter. Paltrow tweeted:
Welcome to the world Blue! We love you already.
Ivy is said to be a reference to the two music stars favorite number 4 (IV.)
R&B princess and Jay-Z’s protégé Rihanna also took to Twitter to congratulate the new parents. The “We Found Love” singer shared on the social networking website:
“Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih.”
Representatives for the couple have not commented on the birth so far.
The new mother and her baby are reportedly doing fine.
