Beyoncé Talks Baby On 20/20 With Katie Couric

Mother-to-be Beyoncé was Katie Couric’s guest on 20/20 last night where she opened up about many things but mainly about her baby girl.

In the midst of all the sweet baby talk, the glowing diva also promoted her new her concert DVD “Live at Roseland: Elements of 4″ and her new business ventures like the launch of her production studio The Parkwood Group.

Here is what the star had to say in the interview that took place at Roseland. The entertainer who was mum about the gender and due date shared that all she wants is a healthy baby:

“I don’t care. I just want–I’m just like everyone else. And now I know why people say that, it’s true. I just want [a healthy baby].”

And added that that her husband and herself are very anxious to see the baby come into the world. She also revealed that she is not offended by the crazy internet rumors that claimed she has a fake baby bump (seeing that Couric touched it she she should be able to attest that it is indeed real) but her mother Tina is often angered by the allegations:

“There are certain things that are so far that it doesn’t even upset you.I’m cool. It’s so ridiculous and over the top.She’s like, ‘Nobody’s talking about my grandbaby. My grandbaby’s not even here yet.’”

She laughed off the insane report that claimed she was craving for pickles and bananas and shared that she is not going crazy with the eating:

“I read that I like ketchup on everything…not true.I was on a plane and the flight attendant came and was like, ‘I have your hot sauce and pickles and bananas.’ I’m like, ‘That is disgusting! What are you doing?’ And he’s like, ‘I read it on the Internet.’”

The “Cater To You” songbird also shared childhood memories and footage with the reporter, explained how happy she is to know that she is going to meet her favorite person in the world soon and much more during the 10 minute interview that can be viewed below.
