Brooke Valentine Tell Ya Boys Goodnight:New Song

Brooke Valentine Tell Ya Boys Goodnight:New Song – With many artists turning to dance, its a relieve that some artists like Faith Evans and Mary J Blidge haven’t ditched their sound. Lets also add Brooke Valentine to that list.

The urban, RnB singer turned up in 2005 with her hit single ‘Girlfight’ and after the track was released she didn’t seem to do much on the music front, but that may be to do with the fact that she parted with her record label Virgin which was with Capitol Records. There are many artists who have tiffs with their record label like Kelly Clarkson.

Brooke Valentine is currently working on her second album and shooting two new brand new music videos and a new song from her has leaked onto the internet which is called ‘Tell Ya Boys Goodnight, which is an RnB old-school song and similar to Estelle’s 90’s music. The beat is hot and she sounds really good on the track, and her vocals have improved but the song is quite boring at first, but you get used to it.

It hasn’t been confirmed whether it is just a leak or her official single, but it is likely that its just a leak since it doesn’t seem to be strong enough to be a first single. But loads of artists do seem to have weak first singles for their albums like Mary J Blidge (Stronger With EachTear).

Brooke has stuck with her urban roots, as she did with her other album, Physical Education and mixtape leaks so its good that some artists are sticking to their sound.

What do you think of Brooke Valentine? Do you think that she will be more successful this time around or do you think she will flop?

I can dig it. Hopefully its just a leak, because it could use some further mixing and mastering. Hard to hear her vocals in a few points, because the track is drowning her out. But the song is simple yet slick, concept wise. Its a good look overall…
