Chris Brown Explains “Exclusive” Album Title
Chris Brown appeared on MTV’s TRL to promote his new album, Exclusive,that was released yesterday.Brown explained why he decided not to challenge Kanye West over album titles :Graduation.
Chris’ management was more than happy when they learned the singer planned to call his new album Graduation, because they dreamed of a publicity war with Kanye over his Graduation album.
Nonetheless Chris called his managers off, an insisted that he wanted to be respectful towards Kanye.He said:
“I came up with the title seven months ago and people were like, ‘Kanye said that his album is called Graduation, and we can just negotiate.’
“I was like, ‘Nah, you’re not negotiating… I’ll just let him call his album Graduation and I’ll just change the title. It’s no big deal for me.”
Chris Brown was also pictured at a private album release party for, Exclusive, at Tenjune in New York City yesterday.
