Chris Brown Graffiti Album Flops:Chris Angry Slams Music Industry On Twitter – Chris Brown’s “Graffiti” album was made available on Tuesday and it is going to flop miserably on the charts.Graffiti will most-likely take the third spot by selling 95,000 to 110,000 units.And for those picking sides and keeping counts that’s about 70,000 less than Rihanna’s “Rated-R”.Chris is already pissed and is taking his anger out on Twitter:

Oh Chris is far from flopping. He will do ok and as Billboard and MTV have stated he is expected to be the #1 debut album for this week.

But they DID include the copies that were sold for $3.99 for the ENTIRE 1st week of her release! Soundscan doesn’t count sales for discs that are sold for MORE than 50% of their original sales price. The original sales price is what the FIRST copy sold for when it was offered for sale at a particular retailer. Amazon offered her release for $7.98 on the day of her release. It was later offered the next day (until Sunday of the following week) for the Black Friday price of $3.99. The $0.99 promo was for only about 2-3 days. During the 2nd week, Amazon offered her disc for $7.99. Many retailers (online and storefront) continue to offer her release at a discounted price of $7.99 – $11.99.
So far, Chris Brown hasn’t been afforded this sales price promo push for his release. So his sales are likely to be from ONLY his radio/video play, limited/small scale tour appearances, and his 1st week sales price of $9.99.
Rihanna, on the other had has traveled the world promoting her release via high profile/huge concerts in Germany (and elsewhere), television appearances, magazine articles/covers, etc, etc.
If Chris Brown came even close to Rihanna’s 1st week sales, then he would have pulled off quite the feat!

Major retailers throughout the world have been purposely bot shelving his albums at all, and telling millions of customers that its sold out when leaving them with that impression when its really in the back.. If you went to his websites, and fan made sites who are being turned down left and right when they go into to stores to buy it you would know this. So whatever album figure comes out, it will be completely WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY OOOOOOFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially when over 90% of all major retail stores have blacklised the album and kept in the back and have joined in a very low and dirty effort to deprive this changing and rehabilitating young boy from his right to sell albums.. Chris Brown’s album is readily available and the majority of retailers who still even purchase albums do it online. This is not a factor in his sales. People are still hung over on him and Rihanna. If she is over it, why cant the public be. Chris’s album is really good and very mature. Rihanna’s album really didn’t sale to great either. She still debuted at number 4 which I’m sure is not what her people were expecting. It’s already dropped out of the top 10 after 2 weeks.

Since when is number 3 flopping? The fact that 90K to 110K is a number 3 debut should really just show us that cds dont sale as much as they used to because of the internet and free downloads. I am not a big Chris Brown fan, but personally I really like the CD. Very mature, and I’m glad to hear him actually singing about his emotions and things going on in his life right now.

I used to be a big fan of Chris Brown, but in the end the only person he has to blame is himself. EVERYBODY knows his career will never be at the level it was before the Rihanna situation and that’s just something he’s gonna have to deal with. When you have a large portion of your fans turn on you for something like that, you don’t get them back. I wish Chris the best of luck but that’s just the reality of the situation. I don’t think he’ll ever go where she’s going in this business.

In 2008, Rihanna and Chris Brown the music industry’s prince and princess. They had successful albums that sold more than a million copies, had #1 singles and both artists were at the peak of their careers.Some people even claimed chris brown as the new king of pop. TWO YEARS LATER, Chris Brown cannot make comeback anytime soon, unless, he releases a massive pop single simiar to that of Rihanna’s Umbrella (which made her known around the world). He simply needs to make better music.
You can’t force people to buy Chris Brown’s album. You can’t force people to buy Rihanna’s album. Stores, whether it be Walmart or FYE are in the business to make money. If they feel that they can’t sell Chris Brown’s album, they will not stock their shelves with it. A few sales may not be enough to convince a store to stock their shelve. Buying bulk to sell a few is a bit crazy. The best of luck to both. The domestic abuse issue bothered me. I however did not intentionally boycott Chris Brown I bought forever from iTunes. I can honestly admit that his personal life did affect my desire to purchase more. I have purchased more of Rihanna’s songs not because of circumstance, but because I like her (just like I like Chris brown enough to sample his music–whether the are bubble gum pop artist or not). The reality of it all is (as mentioned before) when you are an entertainer, your life is part of the package. Getting involved in entertainment (just like politics) and having such great success makes people interested in not only their work, but their lives as well. That’s part of the package. That’s why there is PR(public relations people). As far as Rihanna screwing Chris Brown over. NO. If you want to blame someone for that first blame Chris Brown and blame the people who released the images of her abused face. She tried to help him out.
