Fantasia Barrino American Idol 2011: Collard Greens & Cornbread
Fantasia Barrino and her new blonde hair style appeared on “American Idol” this evening where she performed her latest single called “Collard Greens & Cornbread” which was produced by Andrew “Pop” Wansel, Oak off her 2010 “Back To Me” CD.
While fans were thrilled to hear Miss Fantasia Barrino sing out about cake and vegetables, critics were focusing on what they called an over the top attire and do that looked like a giant bun.
The singer who apparently knows a thing or two about selling few records took some time out to give the contestants some advice on how to make it in show business saying:
“It can throw you a lot of things that you’re not ready for, so you have to keep good people with you,” she tells them. “The first love is the music for me … Because you love music, you can do it.”
In case you were wondering singers Thia Megia and Naima Adedapo were eliminated.
