Fantasia Working On New Album For 2012

Fantasia who gave birth to a baby boy named Dallas Xavier Barrino in December of 2011 is now back in the studio working on her fourth studio album due out later this year.

Miss Fantasia Monique Barrino took to the social networking site Twitter to spill the beans on the follow-up to her 2010 “Back to Me” album.

The “Selfish (I Want You to Myself)” and “You Were Always on My Mind” singer who has been touring and performing in small night clubs tweeted that she has finished 5 songs:

“I am currently working on my next CD guys & I am overwhelmed by what I have accomplished thus far.I’ve got some great songs that I think you guys will love it’s different but it is FANTASIA, to be exact 5 so far.”

The winner of the third season of American Idol went to explain that the record will be out in 2012:

“I’ve been working & giving you guys music & all of me this year 2012 every since I delivered Dallas & I’m so glad to be back.”
