Jay-Z Quotes R. Kelly ‘Ignition’ On Twitter
It seems that the R. Kelly/Jay-Z public feud is about to be a thing of the past.
Weeks after the R&B singer told MTV that he was still a big fan of the hip hop music star, Beyonce’s husband tweeted a fun picture of himself lying on the Brooklyn Nets logo, an NBA team he partly owns.
The “Run This Town” rapper accompanied the photo with lyrics taken from Kelly’s 2003 hit song “Ignition”:
“Usually I don’t do this but, uh go on and break em off with the preview of the remix”.
No official explanation was given for the mysterious tweet but it looks like a huge step in direction of peace.
This process apparently began with Mr. Kelly working with Mr. Carter’s frequent collaborator Kanye West on a song titled “To The World” that was released few weeks ago.
