John Legend Preps New Album And Single “Tonight (Best You Ever Had)”
After collaborating with The Roots in 2010 on the critically-acclaimed “Wake Up!” album, John Legend is back in the studio, working on the follow-up to his 2008 release “Evolver.”
Legend broke the news on Twitter, revealing that a single for the project featuring Ludacris will premiere in the upcoming days. The “Ordinary People” singer tweeted:
We’ll be putting out a new single this week. “Tonight (Best You Ever Had)” – Me feat. @Ludacris. Look for it on Monday!
The crooner later added:
The single will be on my upcoming album (unless y’all hate it!), but it’s coming out on the “Act Like a Lady…” soundtrack also…
The presence of Ludacris on the track probably means that Legend is coming out with something fun and danceable.
