JoJo “Disaster” Video

As promised here is the official music video for JoJo’s first single entitled “Disaster” taken from her upcoming album “Jumping Trains” that will be out in 2012.

In the Benny Boom-directed clip a very sexy and grown JoJo takes on the role of a young rock singer who is in a deteriorating relationship with a biker played by Rafi Gavron.

The artist who went for a British star to play her love interest like Rihanna recently did with Dudley O’Shaughnessy in her “We Found Love” visual explained her choice by saying:

“In choosing our leading man, I wanted it to be someone that was genuinely a rough-around-the-edges kinda guy.Manicured ‘pretty boys’ needed NOT apply. I had seen Rafi Gavron in Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist and thought he was a great actor and a natural choice for me. He embodied the edge and rugged sexiness that I wanted my guy to have. I wanted him to feel a bit like a bad boy from Boston, and although Rafi is from the UK, he pulled it off perfectly.”

While JoJo was able to show a more mature and passionate side in the clip, there is nothing else memorable about the visual.

For a pop/rock song about heartache the concept of the clip was very light.
