Keri’s performance was mediocore in comparison to some of the other female preformers such as Beyonce and Kesha Cole. The act was good, but her singing is week. I was a little thrown off by the end of her performance. She really looks like she is trying to sing her heart out, but the voice is just not big and strong. She really needs to take notes from the very women she attempts to diss in her song. Keri Hilson can’t touch Beyonce or Ciara, vocally or performance wise. Come correct is you’re gonna run your mouth.

Yes, everyone needs to focus on something more important than this garbage. Even if you all can’t spell correctly, I can guarantee you that you’ll learn a great deal if you attend a reputable college, even community college, and attend a Math or Science class. I feel bad for ANYBODY who thinks keri did a good job at the BET awards! That was a serious showcase for no talent wannabees! Somebody said give her a break, it’s her first live performance? PA-LEASE!!!! If you have talent it shouldn’t matter how many times you perform, it should be great every time! She couldn’t sing, her dancing was terrible, the camera could barely follow her, and she looked old and outdone and she is just starting! BOOOOOOOOOOO@her! What happened to real talent? I just want to start by saying please watch the video, Keri was terrible. The singing was off by a hundred and the dancing by 99.9. I’m no hater but if your good at something stick to it, writing songs is what she’s good at. So leave the dancing and singing to someone else. WOW! I will start by saying that Keri is a very talented writer and STUDIO singer. She reminds me alot of Rihanna; sounds good on the album but horrible on stage. She had her nose in the air like she was killing any performer who went before her or would go after her… needless to say, all that smack talk of hers was not backed up by her performance. She should have up-ed her game by doing more small performances before trying to step up and steal the show at the BET Awards. I hated it Keri, it was horrible… and the moves… Michael would be PISSED! Keri Keri Keri… leave the dancing to Ciara and the singing to Beyonce. You have ALOT of growing to do. Truth be told I expected you to do well because your CD is so great but… BIG disappointment… D@MN KERI!!!!!!!

I think Ms♥Keri is a great singer..But she tried wayy to hard with this performance/ so called tribute to Michael Jackson.. her outfit, dance moves, stunts.. it was all overdone.. and the Bet Awards overall seemed a little off this year bcuz they tried to change to many things last minute… i think she should have just stuck to what she was gonna do originally.. it would have been better i bet… she barely had enough stamina to sing because she was over doing it with the ‘MJ dance’ moves.. but i still think she is a good artist.. just not a good first big performance on her part…

I thought her performance was great! Im tired of seeing these industry chicks doing the same tired pole dancing performances. I think this was outside the box and different. You can hear her real voice and I thought she sounded pretty good for a live performance. She also stated that initially the performance was inspired by Grease, James Dean, etc and made changes at the end to fit into the tribute for MJ.

Okay there is a HUGE difference between a first big SOLO performance and a first big performance PERIOD. Beyonce started out in a group so she had alot of experience before she went solo. I say the problem with Keri is that she tried too hard and tried to do so much dancing and so many stunts that she became out of breath. I agree that she looked more like Elvis than MJ but I wouldn’t take anything from her she tried her best.
