Leona Lewis Performs “Hurt” On The X Factor 2011 UK Live Show Final
Leona Lewis in a ruby red dress took the stage on The X Factor Saturday night to perform her latest single “Hurt.”
While it is rather unusual to hear Miss goody two-shoes tackle a song about heroin addiction, she did manage to make the Nine Inch Nails/Johnny Cash reprise her own thanks to a marvelous arrangement that include a whispering piano introduction followed by a full orchestra.
If you were not focusing on the suicidal lyrics of “Hurt” which talks about pain, regrets, Leona’s voice and facial expressions during the performance could have made you believed that she was singing about love.
Lewis is set to release a new CD in 2012 called “Glassheart.”
