Mariah Carey 2012 BMI Urban Awards Tribute Included Joe, Eric Benet (Watch)

The diva known as Mariah Carey looking splendid as ever took center stage at the 2012 BMI Urban Awards in Los Angeles last night with her husband Nick Cannon by her side to be honored with the BMI Icon.

A very emotional Mariah Carey said that she was crying, sweating, thanked her fans and added:

“I don’t know if I’m coming or going but I’m happy to be here.”

After picking up her big prize, the singer sat back and enjoyed a tribute dedicatedto her.

Joe surprisingly did an amazing job on “We Belong Together”, Eric Benet delivered an emotional rendition of “One Sweet Day”, Karen Clark Sheard tackled “Anytime You Need a Friend”) and American Idol winner Fantasia removed her shoes to sing “Hero” – she touched MiMi’s heart as she belted the uplifting track.
