Mariah Carey Premieres New Song ‘Triumphant (Get ‘Em)’
Mariah Carey is pushing the positive notes on her latest song called “Triumphant (Get ‘Em)” which unforgivably and unfortunately features rappers Rick Ross and Meek Mill (Mill is innocent in this story).
“Triumphant (Get ‘Em)” which was produced by Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox was set to be an uplifting mid-tempo ballad a la “Hero” – but it turned out to be a confusing record.
As Carey and Mill talked about surviving through struggles and making it to the top, Rick Ross showed up with his old, lazy and lame lyrics about bling, whores, cars and money.
We need more of Mariah on that song.
But no need to fear, MiMi designed this track to be a hit and her gig on Idol will definitely help her make that happen.
