Mary J. Blige – 25/8 Cover
Mary J. Blige has unveiled the official cover art for her new single called ’25/8′ produced and co-written by Eric Hudson that will be featured on her upcoming 10th studio album called “My Life II… The Journey Continues (Act I)” that will be out in October of 2011.
The very goldish looking art work that was put together by Markus Klinko & Indrani features a very classic Mary J. Blige with blond/gold hair pulled up, giant bangs, large hoops, conservatively dressed as she stares down – while I have to admit that she looks stunning as always, there is nothing captivating about the photograph.
Blige who is set to perform the very soulful and romantic ’25/8′ live for the first time at “Good Morning America’s” Summer Concert Series on September 2, 2011 spoke to radio personality Angie Martinez earlier today about the song saying:
“It really moved me because sometimes you just don’t know what people want anymore and you just do what it is from your heart that you do and be optimistic. Turns out, when you do what you do from your heart, people love you.”
