Michelle Williams Leaves Mathew Knowles Label Music World Entertainment – Michelle Williams has announced that she is parting ways with Mathew Knowles and her label Music World Entertainment.The Grammy Award-winning singer said:
“After much prayer and consideration I have decided to part ways from my management team, Mathew Knowles and Music World Entertainment. From my time in Destiny’s Child to my solo career, I am grateful for everything Mathew and his team has done for me. We’ve shared great success together. However, as I move in a new direction in my career, I felt it was time. I wish Mathew Knowles and the Music World Entertainment family all the best.”

Now, maybe if Kelly Rowland would do the same thing she could actually do something. Am I the only one who thinks that having Beyonce’s father manage the solo careers of the Destiny Child members is a conflict of interest? His loyalty OBVIOUSLY lies with his daughter first. Isn’t that why the ORIGINAL Destiny’s Child broke up in the first place?

Yes, Kelly has already left awhile back. I think the reason it took Michelle longer is that well, for them she was still like a prize winner since she did have one top selling gospel album which also peaked at number one, and another gospel album which peaked at number 2, and then she had her broadway acclaim.
Everyone is talking about favoritism, but what people aren’t looking at is the fact that Ms. Bey also considered leaving, she would have been the first had Jay Z managed to coax her over to his label for her solo career. She just couldn’t dis daddy though. But to tell the truth, had she done it, Michelle and Kelly would have received much more attention on their solo careers. I think that Beyonce is basically managing herself, also, with help from her father. He certainly ain’t doing it all.
Anyway he can’t cry about it for sure. He is the one who instilled in all three of them the value of being good businesswomen. I would say that he should not have managed any of their solo careers, but now that the group disbanded, it is alright if he keeps up kinda managing superwoman Beyonce for a hot minute.
