Miranda Lambert Slams Chris Brown Grammy Awards Return

After three long years, Chris Brown dubbed the comeback kid of the evening graced the 2012 Grammy Awards Ceremony with two heavily choreographed performances and one win.

The crooner took home Best R&B Album: “F.A.M.E.,” Chris Brown beating R. Kelly’s superb “Love Letter” album.

While many in the audience were happy to see Brown back at the event, few female celebrities appeared quite disturbed that he was forgiven so fast after beating the daylights out of Rihanna pre-Grammy night 2009 after the pair got into a heated argument over a text message he had received.

Among the angry singers were Country Music beauty Miranda Lambert who had few violent words for the “Deuces” crooner.

The singer took to Twitter earlier today to share her frustration:

“Chris Brown twice? I don’t get it. He beat on a girl … Not cool that we act like that didn’t happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys.”

Lambert was making reference to her 2007 hit song “Gunpowder and Lead” which tells the tale of an abused wife charging her gun and waiting for her abusive husband to be released from prison.

Calling Chris Brown a felon or a woman beating is one thing but to incite viloence against him is a whole other story.

Modern Family” actor Eric Stonestreet, Sherri Shepherd and Michelle Branch have all publicly voiced their anger over the fact that CBS and the Grammys made the unconscious decision to invite the young man to the event.

Not really sure what all the fuss is about, since Brown’s victim Rihanna seems to be thrilled to be in the same room, nightclub, soiree with her abuser.
