Monica Performs At Shannon Brown’s Wood-Star Music Festival (Video)
Earlier this week Monica came out to support her husband’s Shannon Brown second annual Wood-Star Music Festival which was held in his hometown of Maywood, Illinois.
Monica belted out some of her classic hits songs like “U Should’ve Known Better” and “Love All Over Me” before going a capella in order to pay tribute to her late icon Whitney Houston.
The mother-of-two sang “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” along with the audience and eventually attacked “My Name Is Not Susan” and the track Houston last performed “I Love The Lord”.
The concert which also included performances by Robin Thicke, Estelle, Fantasia, MC Lyte will benefit Shannon Brown Foundation, which is a charity that promotes violence prevention and educational and recreational programs for disadvantaged children.
