MTV Video Music Awards 2012 Nominations

The nominees for the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards have been announced and the list contain few surprises.
Rihanna and on-and-off boyfriend Drake are leading the pack with 5 nominations each.
Drake and Rihanna are even nominated together – their classy and conceptual duet “Take Care” is up for video of the year.
A solo RiRi is hoping that the wild visual “We Found Love” can clean up in that category.
The Barbadian’s star BFF Katy Perry has 4 nods.
Beyoncé and newbie Frank Ocean have each picked up 3 nominations.
Alicia Keys is set to host and perform at the event that will take place from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sept. 6 at 8 p.m.
