I’m living out the words of this song right now in my life. I’m more sad than words can describe. I’m devistated. He and I have cried tears together over and again. But for the last time two weeks ago. Like MAXWELL said we must let go even though its the very last thing he or I want to do. Maybe one day in the future we will be together. But for now it’s just a whole lot of tears and sleepless nights. The entire new CD “BLACK” I am living outloud. Truly, truly tragic.
Maxwell’s entire CD, especially pretty wings, is the story of my life right now! It’s almost like I see our entire relationship on a slide show every time I hear his songs, I love the CD but I may have to hide it from myself for a little while. It’s nice to read these comments and realize that I’m not the only one going through this….
When hearing this song i sat there thinking..wow this is so true. Maxwell is a beautiful artist inside and out. His lyrics are so powerful that I just cry without knowing that I am. I love Maxwell, his music will always inspire.

well what can i say, everytime i listen to the song i cry. i’m in a bad space right now, me and my boyfriend are not talking to each other. his angry at me even if i try to make things right, hev just does’nt wanna talk to me. so i feel like i lost him. but the song just relates to me and ya i’m loving it. all i can say is Maxwell is always the best when it comes to releaseing his love songs albums. thank you for this heat song but actually the album as a whole is pretty interesting. cant wait for the next album.
my boyfriend made me listen to this song and almost instantly i fell in love with it i know its about broken hearts and stuff but i just love this song because of maxwells voice and because someone special introduced me to this song.
My boyfriend as I are going through something right now. It’s just so hard to let each other go… when we both know it’s not really working out for our best interest.
I really love him and was by his side when he was nearly killed in a autombile accident last year and always held it down for him while he was in the hospital. I was there at his every beckoning call… Now it just seems like he doesn’t appreciate me nor all the things I gave up to nurse and care for him.
