In his new memoir R. Kelly wrote a very interesting passage, he claimed that he came to the realization that his marriage to Andrea had come to end while watching the movie “The Notebook”(the Ryan Gosling film features a couple in a long lasting relationship where they eventually died together).

Kelly revealed that while watching the flick, a tear ran down his eyes as he embraced the end of his love affair when the mother of his three kids.

The excerpt which sounds like a page pulled from a fairytale read:

“As the film credits started to roll, I couldn’t move. I burst into tears. People walking past me patted me on the back, trying to console me. ‘The Notebook’ was beautiful, and I was crying because its hero and heroine had died together. But I was also crying because … my marriage had died. And there was nothing I could do to bring it back.”

Now this is where the story gets complicated. Kelly’s ex wife confessed that they saw the movie together and failed to back her ex’s claim that he was weeping during the session.

R. Kelly and Andrea who got married in 1996 finalized their divorce in 2009 but were living separate lives since 2003 – they have three children born in 1998, 2000 and 2002 together.
