Rihanna Grace Jones Similarities:Is Rihanna Copying Grace Jones? – Grace Jones recently blasted Lady Gaga for copying her saying:
“I really don’t think of her at all. I go about my business. Well, you know, I’ve seen some things she’s worn that I’ve worn, and that does kind of piss me off.Yes, she did, but I said no.I’d just prefer to work with someone who is more original and someone who is not copying me, actually.”
Well I was wondering if Jones was following Rihanna’s career closely because it appears as if the RnB diva’s fashion team has borrowed few pages from her outrageous and wild style book.
Rihanna who has always talked about how she admired Jones has been channeling the iconic model in photo-shoots,during her tour and even when she steps out for a night on the town.
As you can see in this little photo montage Rihanna has seriously picked the wrong time to copy/emulate the iconic artist who is now out blasting people for stealing her stuff.
Whose idea was it anyway to have Rihanna wearing some identical outfits sported by the muse on her ongoing Last Girl On Earth tour?
Is Rihanna a swagger jacker? Is it pure fashion coincidence?

I love Grace but Rihanna actually looks better in the clothes. Rihanna actually has an a$s and is shaped like a woman. Grace was always bone skinny with no a$s or breast for that matter.
I love Grace Jones, but Rihanna is just a sweetie and she respects the artists she pays homage to. Lady Gaga blatantly copies and passes it out as genuine when really it’s not original at all. Besides, Rihanna is championing the black girl and really right up there next to Lady Gaga…actually she’s doing better right now….Rihanna is from the Caribbean, she is a model/muse, exotically beautiful, unique and has so many hit pop songs.

Well I’m sure if you asked Rihanna about it she would give respect to Grace Jones. If not then maybe she either honestly didn’t know or the last reason would be that she did indeed just copy her. Recently there was news that Grace JOnes alledgedly told Lady Gaga, “Hell no” after Lady Gaga asked Grace to do a collabo with her. They said Grace said Hell no because she sees that Lady Gaga copies her and that she needs to get her own style. Daaag Gaga. Don’t ask her for nothing no more…LOL
Soo what’s the real question here? Everybody knows that rihanna is a swagger jacker…its common knowledge really.but its not her fault…completely anyway.her stylist need to have a little more integrity and originality when it comes to refining her image.they clearly haven’t done their fashion homework, or either they have, and just dont care about the media backlash whereas in that case, they need to be fired asap.in fashion things are always repeated, but it is just good taste to give honor where honor is due and fortunately taste is one of those things that cant be bought…no matter how much money you have. I think she needs to reintroduce color back into her wardrobe because she looks demonic and depressed and frankly, scary as all hell. By The Way, those pictures of Grace Jones with the horns helmet and the African Tribe symbols on her are probably the best looking I’ve ever seen Grace Jones.LOL I know, I didn’t have to say that, that was low blow.
Although I am a fan of Grace Jones, she should praticce what she preaches regarding the comments she made about Lady Gaga imitating her! Grace Jones was created by French artist Jean-Paul Goude who modeled her after French music hall star Josephine Baker. Not only did Goude and Grace steal Baker’s idea of riding a motorcycle onstage but they also ripped off Marlene Dietricht’s navy uniform she wore in the 1930′s film, Seven Sinners . Remember when Grace was hailed as The Dietricht of the 80′s?
