Rihanna New Album 2010
Rihanna New Album 2010 – When your name is Rihanna, what do you do four little months after releasing an album that more or less flopped?
Well you start working on a brand new CD.
The singer recently revealed to MTV that she was already working on the follow-up to her “Rated R” album saying that the yet-to-be titled CD that should be out this summer will be fun and energetic.
Both Ne-Yo and David Guetta are said to be contributing to the project along with producer Sean “The Pen” Garrett who revealed:
“I got a record on Rihanna’s new album. She’s got some surprises. The record I gave her was very, very positive, very big. It’s a f–king smash. I gave her a humongous radio record. It’s just so infectious. It’s about getting past any drama and just being happy to be alive. It’s an encouraging record. It feels great and it’s got great tempo. I made sure that it was bulletproof. It should be a single unless something crazy happens. It’s hot as f–k. I think it’s a record that’s gonna stay on the radio for a long time.”
If you needed more convincing that Def Jam was done with the disappointing CD the label has decided that the third single, “Rude Boy”, is the last from the project.
Are you happy that Rihanna is going back to the “Good Girl Gone Bad” era?
In the fall of 2010 Rihanna whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty took techno music to another level thanks to her fifth studio album “LOUD.”
The actress released seven singles from the album including the major club bangers “Cheers (Drink to That)” and of course “Only Girl (In the World).”
The “Loud” record also featured two very controversial songs “Man Down” which was accompanied by a music video where the star killed a man who sexually abused her.
“S&M”‘s overly sexual lyrics and visual spilled quite a bit of ink yet it still managed to give RiRi her 10th number one song.
Rihanna knows it- sex sells.
