Rihanna On Chris Brown ‘He Was The Love Of My Life’ Oprah Interview

Rihanna sat down with Oprah Winfrey on Oprah’s Next Chapter in Barbados where she did some laughing and a lot of crying.

She revealed that when she left her native island at the age of 16 she was not scared and was ready to make her dreams come true but she is not sure she would let her own child do the same.

With tears running down her eyes, she opened about her grandmother Dolly who recently passed away.

The “Rude Boy” singer explained that Dolly taught her to forgive her enemies and enjoy life.

She also shared that she is not as sexy people want to believe – she spilled that she is very uncomfortable in the sexy photoshoots and videos.

The Caribbean beauty described herself as a fun loving person, she is black and white when it comes to her business but needs a grey area in her personal life.

The actress said that she often hides her issues and her loneliness because that is not wants she wants to be known for.

She had the following to say about Chris Brown and the 2009 incident.

It was humiliating, it was embarrassing and it was hard to interpret as the world watched it happened to her.

Despite the pain Brown caused, she was hoping that the world would not see him as a monster.

She confessed that she still loves him, they are great friends, is aware that he is in a relationship and confirmed that they saw each other in St Tropez few weeks ago.

She also opened up about her working relationship with her dad which helped her heal and find a better place in her life and with men.

Some funny portions of the interview included Oprah singing one of Rihanna’s song, and her mother thinking that she might be pregnant.

The whole thing ended on a sweet note, Rihanna surprising her mother with the keys to huge mansion.
