Rihanna ‘Talk That Talk’ Album To Sell 200K Units In First Week
Just 24 hours after Rihanna released her fifth studio album “Talk That Talk,” Hitsdailydouble.com has unveiled its prediction pertaining to the diva’s sale numbers.
While it will not be really considered as a flop “Talk That Talk” that is on the path of selling only 180-200,000 copies in its first week is very disappointing compared to her 2010 CD “LOUD” that debuted with 207,000.
Nonetheless expect the Rihanna promotional machine to make this CD a success.
As for Mary J. Blige, her tenth studio album “My Life II… The Journey Continues (Act I)” will do what is expected of it, it will push 120-140,000 units in week one.
Here is what the week’s sales will look like:
Rihanna (Def Jam/IDJ) 180-200k
Mary J. Blige (Geffen) 120-140k
Michael Jackson (Epic) 50-60k

it will sell well but not as much as loud i reckon. Rihanna never seems to be out of the limelight because she’s releasing a new single every few weeks… but this album seems to be coming straight out of the blue and feels like a very rush “Loud: part 2″ just to make the label more money…
