Rihanna Te Amo

Rihanna Te Amo – “Te Amo” is a brand new song from Rihanna that leaked earlier today. The track was written by James Fauntleroy and tells the story of a girl who is trying to let another woman know that she loves her as a friend but she is not a lesbian.I am not sure it will be a hit but her smooth and sexy vocals make the record interesting.Rihanna will be dropping a new CD later this year.
You can listen to Rihanna “Te Amo” after the jump.

    1. Maryam says:

This song isn’t about a woman try to tell another woman she isn’t a lesbian..

It was written by James Fauntleroy, and it’s from a man-woman point of view. So when Rihanna sings it, (she doesn’t change she to “he”) so it does sound gay.

      • VITOR in Brazil says:

your comment is strange … the music is cool … I definitely liked too … and I do q vai … success can be Katy Perry kissed a Girl … because you can not deny that Rihanna is lesbian brotherly love there ????…

      • Danny says:

James knew Rihanna was gonna sing the song, he wrote it from a female point of view.

The song loses all of it’s meaning if it’s sung from male to female- did you even read the lyrics?

        • sam says:

actually, go search for james fauntleroy’s version. he didn’t wrote it from female point of view. in his version, he sings it the same way she does, so it does work from male to female too.

    2. UNDEFEATEDD says:

check out my rihanna ‘te amo’ reggaeton remix at youtube.$$m/watch?v=4anjEp7QGtw

    3. bajanyout says:

      here’s the original by James

    4. Ellennnn says:

Where can i download this song?

    5. Danielle says:

Yes it does sound gay. She’s breaking my heart. I’m a fan of hers but i don’t know where she’s going with her music now. I’ll just have to wait and see how her new CD turns out to jugde rather I’m still going to follow her music or not. I’ve been waiting patiently for her to come back out. Good luck to her that her album sales for her new Cd to do well when it comes out.

      • CHiiZii3 says:

The song te amo is about about rihanna telling us that she has a friend who is a girl who likes her…but what rihanna tells us, by singing Te Amo, is that she loves her friend but ONLY as a friend and she doesnt feel the same way her female friend feels towards her. And I have actually brough her new album, it’s really good. Have u brought it yet?

    6. essby says:

he’s a song writer he sang the song the way he wanted rihanna to sing it the way she is singing it is right and its not saying she’s a lesbian its saying her friend or whoever the other girl is but she doesnt feel the same way

    7. essyb says:

first she’s not saying she herself is a lesbian she’s saying the other woman is but she doesnt feel the same way. of cours james faunterloy sang it exactly like she did because that’s the way he wanted rihanna to sing it he is a song writer and put his voice on it first with the exact same lyrics for rihanna to sing the lyrics exactly the same way.

    8. Sh@nn0n says:

i love this song shes not a lesbian i am a big an of her xx

    9. hollyyyy says:

Its not saying she is a lesbian at all LOL,
if any one bothers to read the lyrics you would know the woman is saying she loves her but rihanna does not feel the same
or she is saying it as a friend and she is getting it wrong?
thats my opinion anyway i love the song :) xx

    10. nita-sweety says:

      I LOVE THIS SONG

    11. noussa says:

oh what the hell is all this u can’t just enjoy a song without making it the problem of the century !!!!

    12. emily says:

i think this song is awsome i love it! im not a lesbain but i am very supportive of gays and i love this song, its great.

    13. muleram says:

Sounds beautiful. Reading the lyrics am thinking what a waste…

    14. ice says:

Awesome beat cant say much about the lyrics behind it.

    15. oraef says:

lol. seems mst of u dnt get it. she says it plainly.she says i knw evry one needs luv bt i dnt feel tht way. she aint lesbian the frnd is, rihanna is saying she loves her bt nt tht way.

    16. jenn says:

i personally think the lyrics are serious.
for me being bi-sexual and havin a bad ending of a relationship .. the lyrics kinda fall into play with my ex coming bak but my feelings not being there the same..

i think this song is definitely something different for rihanna but will most definitely be a hit record

    17. d says:

      very nice song.

    18. ryan says:

maybe she has a frieand who loves her and she dont feels the same for her that why she sang the song.

    19. nora says:

rihana un jam nga klina klina eshte ne kosov e gjith kosova te duam dhe na u ki dhimbsur shum kur te rrahu cris brown eja ne kosov e lutem please te amo ich libe dich i love you te dua

    20. Leee says:

The song Te Amo is about rihanna telling us that she has a friend who is a girl who likes her…but what rihanna tells us, by singing Te Amo, is that she loves her friend but ONLY as a friend and she doesnt feel the same way her female friend feels towards her…That is what Te Amo is about and you would know by reading the lyrics or listening to the lyrics when rihanna sings it…The song doesnt imply to us that Rihanna is a lesbian…its obvious that te amo is not a song of gayism…

      • Matt says:

You’re totally right dude! It’s about the unrequited love, not lesbianism.
        PS: Gayism isn’t a word though… :/

    21. asha says:

none of ya up there knos if she is a lesbian or not so why bother if she is gay who cares if she is not who care she makes me sick…right after da situation wit h3r and chris brown..

    24. Osvaldo Sechie says:

I loved it… Her voice is just amazing… I love the Song.

    25. KC17 says:

I don’t know about you guys, but the song is totally amazing… the only thing I’m gonna say to ya’ll is, don’t judge the book by it’s cover….

    26. alma says:

      kiss……

    27. Bria says:

      She’s singing from a man’s persepctive.

    28. Jessica says:

Why is there so much controversy over it? If you are so gaycist that any direction of it pointing to being a lesbian offends you to your very being, just assume that she is singing from a man’s perspective. If it doesn’t bother you, assume it’s a one sided female love. All songs hold different meanings to people, like paintings do. Music is free for interpretation, and until Rihanna or her manager tell the media what the song itself truly means, just believe what you’d like too. :D

    29. ilsejoy says:

u guys all over analyse this stuff – who cares what it’s about and how’s it going to benefit u if u know?? the fact is, she sang this song and she did a stunning job! you go Ri

    30. vae says:

james fauntleroy wrote this song about a boy n a girl and he sings it on youtube go look it up but he gave it to rihanna and made more money off of it by having her sing it and she adds an extra verse of her own in there and if you really listen to it you’ll see its not a gay song its actually pretty good i like her cd just a couple of songs i could do wit out

    31. kellie says:

you close minded idiots make me sick. would you really not like an artist because shes singing about something that may or may not involve a lesbian. thats the reason the world has so much hate and distruction. open your eyes people

    32. PREttY a$s dORA says:

In an radio interveiw with Rihanna she stated “Te Amo” was about how you sometimes go in the clubs and there are “girls kissing girls” and some girls just come over a flirt with you all night even if your not gay.She contiued by saying “You entertain them…that doesnt’ necessary mean you are gay…girls just want to have fun!”

    33. remfadem says:

I think its about that Rihanna and the girl whos b$$$s she felt up.The girl looks latino.(google the image “rihanna lesbian”)Rihanna obviously likes to flirt with girls but really prefers bad boys. What a clit tease!

    34. I aint saying! says:

      0ne you bloody a$$$$$e twit

    35. [=X...Stacii...X=] Babyy [=X...Lou...X=] says:

i love this song, i always like to know what a song is about as i a=have a very intense love for music, i think the meaning of this song is very moving and all the people that are OBSESSED! about it being about lesbianism, if you’re that bothered about it then dont listen to it, you are obviously all just very closed minded people who need to open up a little and if you are that closed minded then stop reading into songs so much, all that said, great song rihanna =) xx

    36. dode says:

      you big sick

    37. sadik says:

      i love this song

    38. safdsnghbgnnydb says:

    39. JoeSchmo says:

More homo-agenda being pushed on us. What happened to tolerance? Now it’s: “Even if u don’t accept us, we’re pushing it down your throat”…

    40. I aint saying! says:

      ur a homo joe schmoe

    41. CeeCee says:

I love this song! Who cares what it means! Even though she is hot

    42. Homo says:

If she’s lesbian than its a gud thing, well she said she has a thing for touching breasts n said she wuld date a girl!! So wat if she’s les, can i be that girl Ri Ri? I’m hot and ppl say i luk like you!!!

    43. smart one says:

right, I am laughing at the statement that the song can function sang from a male to female… lol.. and then she put a hand around his waist.. right lol :-) ))

    44. jalia says:

am crazy much with this song, i was much curious to know wat was all about, but am glad i know the meaning, love rihanna much.

    45. Matt says:

1st of all this song isn’t about her having a friend and telling her she isn’t a lesbian. It’s a song about a friend who loves her but she doesn’t. The first statement is true but not the point. Part of it is the same-sex element, sure, but the focus is on the I’m just a friend thing.

2nd I’m disappointed in all the “this song is gayyy” comments. Even if it were what’s ur problem?

    46. Danny says:

      You’re right Matt.
Why discuss all this lesbian or not stuff.

It’s just a really good song describing how someone has to tell another that he/she doesn’t love her/him.
The sex is absolutely unimportant for the message.

    47. I aint saying! says:

      f$$k yaal bitches

    48. Danny says:

      Oh wow!!
