Rita Ora Says Jay-Z Thinks She Could Be As Big As Rihanna
So much for putting these replacing Rihanna rumors to rest. While promoting her upcoming debut album due out later this year, Roc princess Rita Ora sat down with UK’s Guardian.
Ora tackled various topics including working with Jay-Z, her path to success but what really stood out during the chit chat were her thoughts on Rihanna – the diva she is being groomed to replace.
While the Kosovan pop star does not personally believe there will be another Rihanna- she admitted to the British publication that she thinks that Jay wants her as big as the Barbadian star. Ora said:
“I don’t think there will be a next Rihanna.But I think [Jay Z] definitely sees me as someone who could be as big as Rihanna. She’s a superstar now but they first knew her as a small-island girl – and they want to repeat that success.”
The “RIP” singer is currently working with Drake, Chase, Status and Stargate for her forthcoming project.
