Trey Songz Ends Beef With R. Kelly, Calls Him ‘The King Forever’

Trey Songz has decided to answer R. Kelly who recently revealed that he listens to the young crooner’s songs and indirectly said that he would not mind working with him.

The beautiful words coming out of Kells mouth were a bit surprising knowing the history the two men shared (Trey copied Kelly’s style and attempted to push his icon on a creative level and the move was not welcomed by the Chicagoan).

Talking to MTV the “Can’t Help But Wait” and “Bottoms Up” singer made the following flattering comments about R. Kelly:

“I love R. Kelly. He recently said that he would love to work with me, said that he’s a fan of mine and that’s very special to me. can’t really explain how much that means to me. He’s been an influencer and an idol for me for a long time. We had our differences and right now we’re in a great place. No matter how well I do, [R. Kelly] is the king forever in my eyes.”

Now that the beef is over between those two, they should get in the studio and make some music together.

As of lately Rihanna has been quoting R. Kelly’s lyrics on Twitter so maybe there is hope for a collaboration here also.
