Trey Songz Not Pleased With Ne-Yo Comments

Two weeks ago Mr I Can Not Shut aka Up Ne-Yo appeared on The Breakfast Club radio show on New York’s Power 105.1 where he talked about his love life, the fact that Beyonce did contribute a tiny bit to “Irreplaceable,” his countless business ventures, Frank Ocean, not being gay and the state of R’n'B music.
Ne-Yo who has a habbit of dissing his pals for not reason, explained that R’n'B music is failing because singers are not able to make people feel emotions in their songs (has he listened to Anthony Hamilton and R. Kelly’s new albums?).
He went to explain that he believes that Trey Songz whom he loves by the way, would be an important figure in the genre if he was willing to put a little more effort into his craft.
Earlier today DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne sat down with Songz to talk about his studio album “Chapter V” out in stores today and of course the first question that was asked was what did he think of Ne-Yo’s comments.
The “Bottoms Up” singer explained that he felt that it was wrong of his so-called friend to share these thoughts with the public.
He added that there are things you do not say to the world until you have made a phone call to the person concerned.
The star appeared upset despite the fact that DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne revealed to him that Ne-Yo tried to get them not to air that portion of the interview because he came to the conclusion that he should have never insulted his friend as he did.
Ne-Yo just lost a client and R. Kelly just gained one.
