Usher American Idol 2010:OMG Performance Video – The mentor of Soul and R&B week on ‘American Idol”, Usher appeared on the reality series last night to sing his new track conveniently titled “OMG”.
Dressed in black and silver,the singer moved through clouds of smoke and burning flames with his dancers to entertain the crowd, accompanied by Black Eyed Peas mastermind Will.I.Am.
“OMG,” is the new single from the crooner’s newly released album “Raymond v. Raymond.”

Usher’s singing portion of the performance was garbage. He sounded like Axle Rose at the MTV music awards years ago. Two thumbs down.
I would say his performance was very pitchy.
I thought it was ironic that any of the contestants could have done a much better job. He wouldn’t have made the top 36 with that voice. Just horrible.
Well if any of you had actually been on stage and performed, you would know that singing and dancing with choreographed moves, mined you, is one of the HARDEST thing for any artist to do, which is why most and by most I mean ALOT of artists prefer to have the track playing in the background AKA Lip Sync, when they are on stage. I give him his props for trying to be genuine and give fans the real deal. I think he sounded pretty good for all the moves he was doing up there.

i agree that singing and dancing is very difficult. the problem is that his dancing moves fcking sucked too. and the vocals didnt sound pitchy from moving around a lot. they just sounded bad and amature. i was embarrassed watching his stupid a$s on TV

1. look at his stupid a$s outfit. looks like he raided a transsexuals wardrobe.
2. his dance choreography looks stupid as fck. i could have done better and i cant dance for sht.
3. vocals blow. lyrics are stupid and unintelligent. so obviously he writes his own songs?
I watched the performance again last night.
The song was so-so, but I thought the performance was great. Really strange freak dance moves, but I thought it was cool. Totally different and original. Can’t do the same sht over and over.

As for wardrobe, look at Michael Jackson and tell me that his wardrobe was cool. It wasn’t. But that was his style, and he owned it. Usher made everything come together. If he wore that get-up on the street, he might get beat. But he’s on a stage doing a performance. Do you think KISS should be walking around town all painted up? Them dudes are freaks. But on the stage, it’s all different.
