Whitney Houston Concert In Australia:Fans Disappointed – Whitney Houston is making headlines for all the wrong reasons.Houston who had a concert at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Australia last night was said to have given the worst performance of her life.Apparently after singing two songs Whitney was said to be tired,confused and called on her brother Gary to take over the microphone.A very upset concert goer told the Courier-Mail:
“She was not fit to perform. She seemed to be on another planet, and the concert was laughable. When the back up singer’s performance is the stand out for the night you know something is wrong.She barely finished any of her songs and talked more than she sang while trying to catch a breath, as well as stopping in the middle of her songs to get a towel, reapply makeup.I’ve never seen so many people walk out and be disappointed.”
Check out her performance of “I Will Always Love You” below where she can be seen pausing to get a drink and towel off just as she was about to hit the song’s epic high note, which she turned into a soft whisper.

With all due respect i think Whitney is beyond repairable. I’ve seen videos of her performances on Oprah and GMA, and really she is beyond anyone’s help. She should just retire…
She was great… still Whitney, still a brilliant singer. Nothing dissappointing about her performance. There are not that many female singers around of her calibre & strength. You go girl!
Possitive words are very comforting at a bad time,,,but reality is well, what it is. She sounds horrible and should simply take some time to attempt to repair what her life choices have taken away.
i think whitney is a great singer and i know how hard it was for her to come after everything but she tried her best
that’s right, we should not forget that Whitney did her best despite of her struggles, she inspired us before through her songs and brilliant voice, and that would be enough for us to acknowledge her as an icon in the music industry, and this concert shows her hopeful moments where she needs our kindness and understanding, that we too commit mistakes in our own life yet we stand again and try to gain confidence to do good. I still love you Whitney,no matter what.
I feel like crying. It’s very dissapointing even though I had a feeling already that she wasn’t going to be able to do it anymore. I just wanted to remain in ignorance though.
I think the critics are being a tad bit hard on Whitney. No, her voice does not sound the same (even my voice doesn’t sound the same as it did 20 years ago), but she is giving it her all and I don’t care if Whitney comes out singing, “Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream” it is a blessing for her to sing anything at all. To bounce back and and even attempt a come back after all she’s been through takes a lot of courage so I am very proud of her. She could have given up but she didn’t. Fan for life, I love you Whitney, keep doing your thing and keep blessing us with the gift that God has blessed you with. Pass it on!
I fully agree with Tara, and as a fan for life, Whitney is still the Queen Diva. Seriously, how many artists are as sucessful, and blessed with the gift Whitney possesses by God’s good graces. Any of us could only try and muster up some of strength and true professionalism that Whitney has, would be lucky to do so. Whitney will sadly remain the center of critisim because of our ignorance to mind our own business. Anyone who has ever loved Whitney Houston’s music should be proud that she is still performing, “maybe one day I will get to see it live”, I hope I do. cheers.

Couldn’t reach the high notes. Stopped in the middle of the song. Would not have paid to go see that. She’s still a drug addict.
To be honest I think Whitney Houston really didn’t have to come back. She has already made her mark in this industry.Whitney is one of the biggest Diva’s, Icons, Legends and Queens of all time!!! It scared me to read all reactions of her concert. I hope I have time to get my money back, for what I heard and read, I´m sure I will walk out too. Better do it nowwwww!!!!
Regardless of what everyone says, I think she is still a Diva and a legend and I would still go to one of her concerts.
I havent watched the concert in youtube yet, but with the comment i prefer not to watch it anymore.
