The Dream - I Need Love - Here’s a new song from Lloyd titled “I Need Love” featuring The Dream.The track is apparently from Lloyd’s ‘Lessons In Love’ album,that will hit stores in August.Like most of Lloyd’s recent work,it is not bad at all.The only problem is that,average or decent doesn’t seem to be enough to sell records in 2008.

Rihanna “Disturbia” Music Video Pictures - Rihanna was pictured on the set of her new music video for the song “Disturbia” in Los Angeles on Monday,it is being directed by David LaChapelle.The track features background vocals and was co-written by Chris Brown. That feathered mask is beyond interesting.
Stevie Wonder Gospel Album “The Gospel Inspired By Lula” - Stevie Wonder who is currently touring the U.S. will be releasing not one but two new albums in the upcoming months.
The first one is an all-gospel album called “The Gospel Inspired by Lula” which is a tribute to his late mother Lula Mae Hardaway,that will be out later this year.
The second is entitled “Through the Eyes of Wonder” which is a performance piece that will reflect his experience as a blind man. On “The Gospel Inspired by Lula Stevie said:
“Some of it is going to be traditional gospel but some of it is going to be … I’m trying to do some (different) stuff,” “I might do something in Arabic. I might do something in Hebrew. My whole thing of the title is just saying ‘Spreading the good word, the message.
“I’ve written a few things on the road and … I’ve had songs throughout the years that I never recorded and so a combination of those songs and some traditional things will make up for the project. And I’m excited about it.”
On “Through the Eyes of Wonder,” he added:
“What I want to do with our live performances is to create visuals that [give] my take on how I see the world and how most various things affected me,”
Rumors are saying that the singer will work with Tony Bennett for another duet album where they will cover Marvin Gaye and produced by Quincy Jones.
R. Kelly “Freak Show” Ft. Real Da Magicman - The full version of R. Kelly’s new song called ‘Freak Show’ featuring Real Da Magicman has surfaced.When the snippet was leaked,I thought nothing much of the track,after hearing the whole thing,my opinion remains the same.R. Kelly has plans to drop a new album entitled “12 Play: Fourth Quarter” later this year.

Alicia Keys To Retire At 30? - Alicia Keys has apparently decided that she may retire from the music industry by the age of 30.The singer wants to devote the rest of her life to traveling and discovering the world.She said:
“I am working hard now so I have the choice to retire when I want.”I would like to travel the world and stay in places instead of having to move on like I do now. I want to experience difference cultures.”
Keys’ passion for globe trotting began after she fell exasperated in 2006 and took a short break from music to visit Egypt.
Let us hope that the three years that she’s got left in the music business are good ones.
